Product Focus: 2024 Season Planting Bags . . now in stock!

We’ve been hard at work over summer with R&D and updates to our 2024 Season Planters Bags. As ever, last season brought us some fascinating insights and feedback on the range for both functionality and durability and we hugely appreciate the time taken by our customers to get in touch.

Our focus for the bags this season has been on Plant and Planter health:

  • Planter health:
    • All rigs now come with a lightweight pouch attached to the primary bag as standard, ideally sized for water bottles or energy snacks and small safety kits.
    • Weight reduction; all metal fittings have been replaced with durable plastic or webbing alternatives, whilst still maintaining our signature rig adaptability . . . quickly re-configure your rig for the days tasks ahead.
  • Plant health:
    • We’re excited to launch our new accessory PLANTEM® HydRoot – an innovative semi-flexible insert that sits in the bottom of the bag to help keep bare roots moist while being carried to the planting spot.
    • Disease Control – with the saddening prediction of more prevalent tree disease risk as our climate changes, we wanted to be confident that our range of products can be disinfected between sites, if or when necessary. We now extend our 1 year Manufacturers Guarantee to include defects arising from disinfecting with Citrox.

To  further bolster our commitment to Plant and Planter health we are proud to support Greenway Training efforts to re-introduce the LANTRA Awards training course for ‘Planting and Establishing Woodland’. The old phrase of ‘the right tool for the right job’ goes a long way but skills, knowledge and technique seed the foundation for plant and planter health.

We look forward to hearing how their course develops this season and excited to be taking part on their 1 day course in October, watch out for a future blog post about the day!
